The Finland-based group, Omiaruhje collective, is formed by dance artists Meri Salmela and Emilia Ahopelto, circus artist Milla Kurronen and multidisciplinary artist and designer Ines Masanti.

 

The interdisciplinary group of professionals combine their expertise and interests sharing an ambition to create powerful performances with strong physicality and visuality.

 

The aim is to build a solid base for the artists’ professional growth and development with a core idea of reaching beyond genres. Works of Omiaruhje thrive in the conditions and sometimes harsh realities of the modern world, finding ways to sprout freely from the concrete cracks to become the unexpected sight of joy and life.

 

Unafraid of changing direction or floating aimlessly, they are finding their way in the field of performing arts, reforming themselves by every piece they create.
